Friday Foto Faves

Last Sunday I took the boys to get Easter pictures taken with a live bunny.  Kate (the photographer) sent me a preview of my H Man.  His blue outfit really brings out his blue eyes.  I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures.

I had half of a pizza in the refrigerator for Lincoln's dinner and I guess he decided he was hungry.  He got the pizza out and headed to his room.

Future Auburn quarterback (or whoever wants to pay for his college)

Harrison eating on the play corn.

The baby powder monster strikes again!  Lincoln loves to play with the baby powder.

Monday morning before we left for Grammy's house.  I guess he was still tired :)

This little man is so precious.  He loves talking in the morning.

Lincoln heard his brother talking and had to go and love on him.

Lincoln also left his sippy cup behind.  Harrison seems to like it.

Lincoln has been having allergy issues this week.  He just wanted to lay in bed yesterday morning.

The sheetrock is going in today!!!  It is really starting to come together.

Blast from the past!
This is a group picture of some of my friend in high school.  I think we all still pretty much look the same.  I can't believe this was 11 years ago!!!

Sidewalk Chalk

Yesterday we enjoyed the afternoon outside.  I had to stop at the store on the way home so I bought Lincoln some sidewalk chalk.  I thought he would really enjoy it since he likes to draw so much right now.
Lincoln didn't really know what to think.  I am pretty sure I had more fun than he did.

Daddy actually got to enjoy the evening with us instead of working on the new house.  Can you tell Peanut was thrilled we were outside :)

Lincoln thought it was neat that he could write on the paver stones.

H Man sitting up all by himself.

Please pay no attention to our grass.  I need to call the yard man to come and cut our grass.

Girls Night Out

Saturday night my friend, Laura, invited me to go see Jake Owen with her.  He was playing at a local venue called Track 29.  Honestly, I didn't even know who Jake Owen was when she asked but I knew I needed a night out.  I google Jake Owen and found out that I knew a few of his songs.  Even if I didn't know any of his songs I knew I would have a great time hanging out with Laura.  Two of her other friends from Chattanooga came along as well.  We all meet at Laura's house then headed to Blue Plate for dinner.
Lissa, Tammi, Me & Laura

Jake Owen is pretty nice on the eyes :)

I'm not really sure how my phone took a pic like this but I thought it looked really cool.

We had a blast!!!  Hopefully us four can get together again soon.  I am so thankful to have a great friend like Laura.  A night out was just what I need to help clear from head from all the stress with building a house.

Friday Foto Faves

Last Friday night Christian parked in the front yard because my Mom was in his parking spot at the house.  I didn't really think anything about it until the next morning when Christian was trying to leave to go work on the house.  His truck does not have 4wheel drive.  He tried to back out onto the driveway but got stuck.  Then he drove to the back yard and tried to turn around (we live down a huge hill) and got really stuck.  So the Commander had to come to the rescue and pull in out.  It is a beast!!

My sweet little man loves carrots :)

Lincoln has been loving being about to play outside.

Harrison laughing at Daddy.

Lincoln put his hat on all by himself.

The hardie board is finally going on the house and we have a front door.

I am in love with my front door.

I am very happy with the hardie board.

The rock on the foundation is almost finished.

Rub a Dub Dub....

.....Two kids in an infant tub!!!

Here lately Lincoln and Harrison have been taking a bath together.  We are always so rushed in the evenings it is just easier to throw them both in the tub at the same time.  We put Harrison in his infant tub in the bath tub and then Lincoln in just in the bath tub.  Lincoln always wants to love on his brother throughtout bathtime.  He will put his head on Harrison and say "aaahhhhh".  It is quite sweet.  He keep trying to get in Harrison's tub with him but I figured there was no way he would actually fit.  Well he figured out a way.  It was so sweet I had to take a picture.  He even wanted to share his washcloth.

I can't wait to pull these pictures out when they are teenagers and show their girlfriends :)

Prechool 3-9-12

Lincoln's beautiful artwork.  He wants to paint every week now.
We sang Humpty Dumpty again.  He was much more interested in playing with the Humpty Dumpty this week.

His favorite part is play the sticks.  He does so good playing them by himself now.

He also made a kite for art time but I forgot to take a picture.

Fun in the Sun

The weather has been beautiful in NW GA the past few days.  Wednesday we decided to take advantage of it and get a little fresh air.  I had planned on taking the boys to the park after work but ended up having to run a few errands getting things for the new house so we just headed home.  Lincoln loves to go outside and I knew Harrison would enjoy a change of scenery and some Vitamin E too!  It was quite a task getting both boys ready to sit 5 steps from the front door.  I put the bouncer on the sidewalk, put Lincoln in shorts, put his shoes on, changed Harrison to just a onesie and we headed outside.

The first thing Lincoln did was rull over and get a dandelion and blow it.

He doesn't understand the whole concept of just blowing the little seeds.  Instead he pretty much puts it in his mouth then blows them out.  You can't really tell in this picture but the seeds are all over his face.

Harrison loved watching Lincoln run around.

The dogs were so happy we were all outside.

Lola really wants Lincoln to learn to play.

She gave up.

After all the fun running around it was time for a push pop.  Who doesn't love icecream on a warm day or pretty much any day? :)

Even little brother wanted a bite or at least Lincoln thought he did.  Lincoln does so good about sharing with Harrison even when we would rather he didn't.

Harrison didn't mind too much.

He loves to sit on the blocks.

Lincoln decided brother needed another bite....poor Harrison.  Can you tell he has a rough life?

Lincoln dropped the icecream on the ground and decided to pick it up and try to eat it again.  Oh well, I guess a little dirt never hurt anyone.

I look forward to many more fun filled evenings with my boys!  Hopefully we will get to move in the house soon where they will have a big yard to play in.  Plus Daddy will be able to play to and not be working every evening at the house.
