Preschool 9-30-11

Ready for circle time

Lincoln favorite part of the itsy bitsy spider is when we put the spider on our heads :)

He really loved playing the sticks this week and did it a lot withour my help.

He wasn't too excited about putting the apron on to paint.

He also decided he would rather finger paint than with a paint brush.

Ready to go home.

We tried out the 9am class this week but I think we are going to go back to the 10am class next week.

Baby #2- 37 Weeks

How far along: 37 weeks

Size of Baby:  more than 6lbs
Big Brother Lincoln: Lincoln will shake his head no and say no sometimes.
Total weight gain: 33lbs

Maternity clothes: Everything is pretty much maternity now.  I have some cardigans that I can wear that are non maternity but that is about it.  My maternity shirts are getting short.
Gender: It's a BOY!! Harrison Joseph Barajas

Movement: All the time!  He loves to kick me in the ribs when I am laying down.  His kicks hurt a little too since there is not much room left for him.

Sleep: I don't remember what that is.  I toss and turn all night which hurts and I have to get up a million times to go to the bathroom.
Symptoms: I have no energy what so ever.  I can get a load of clothes out of the dryer and take them to the bedroom and I feel like I ran a marathon.
What I Miss: Not feeling like a lazy bum.
Cravings: fruit...too bad I haven't been craving that all along and maybe I wouldn't have gained so much weight
Best Moment this Week: We moved into our rental house.  I have started getting things ready (better late than never) for Harrison's arrival.  Man Lincoln had a lot of clothes!

What I'm Looking Forward to: Finally buying the furniture for the nursery and getting it set up.

Lincoln- 13 Months

13 Months
Weight: 30lbs
Height: 32 inches
Clothes: Still wearing mostly 2T and size6 shoes
Food: You are still taking a bottle.  I was hoping to have you broke of it by the time your brother got here but it is not looking too good.  You are eating more and more table good but you still like your baby food.  Dr. Carroll said you should be eating mostly table food now so we are trying to give you more and more.  You seem to have texture issues like your Mommy.
Words: DaDa, MaMa, Bye, NumNum, hi
Sleep: Thankfully you are still sleeping through the night most of the time.  Although you do like to stay up late and sleep in.
Diapers: Size 5
Things you can do:  You are walking everywhere!!!!!!!!!!  You can make the monster face and it has to be the cutest thing I have ever seen!  You know where your ear, piggies and belly are located.  You will also do the Indian nose.  You love to play in your ball pit.  You love it even more if someone will get in the tent with you but you will scream when they want to get out and try to hold them in.
You had your first trip to the emergency room this month.  It liked to scared us to death but thankfully everything turned out fine.

Preschool 9-23-11

This week at preschool Lincoln started out playing with the puzzles.  He really just like to pull out the pieces but didn't show any interest in putting them back.

After a little toy time it we did a craft.  I traced Lincoln's hand and I put his height and weight on the paper.

I didn't do the best job tracing his hand but he didn't like have to keep still that long.  He weighs 30lbs and is 32inches long.

After the craft it was music time which is usually Lincoln's favorite part.  Here he is with the spider for when we sign the itsy bitsy spider.

Chewing on the sticks :)

He loved Ms. Diane.  He kept walking up to her wanting her to hold him.  Finally she picked him up and let him demonstrate the motions to the song.

Can you tell this is usually his nap time?  He just laid down in the middle of the mats while everyone was singing.

Last but not least it was time to color a brown bear.  Ms. Diane had just read them a story about a brown bear.  Lincoln also wanted her to hold him then and he wanted to turn the pages.

I think it is the best looking brown bear I have ever seen :)

Rough Day

My Nanny has been watching Lincoln a day a week for the past several week.  We I go and pick him up he is always exhausted becasue they play non-stop from the time he arrives until the time he leave.  This is him on the way home the other day.  I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before he fell asleep.

Lincoln the Wolverine

I put this mask on Lincoln when we were at Walmart the other day and he walked around forever with it on.  I am pretty sure he would give Hugh Jackman a run for his money :)

Preschool 9-9-11

We had a great time at preschool on Friday.  Lincoln is really starting to interact with the other kids.

He pulled out a million toys.

After pulling out all the toys he decide to try and pull off every magnet he could reach :)

We played sticks during circle time.

Last but not least, we finger painted.  Lincoln really wanted to stick his fingers in the paint then in his mouth.  Luckily, I caught him before it happened :)

Lincoln- 12 Months

Weight: 29lbs 6oz

Length: 32 inches

Food: When you wake up you eat oatmeal and usually wait to take your bottle until you are ready for a nap.  Once you wake up from your morning nap you eat lunch (usually a fruit) and then a bottle (8oz).  You usually take an afternoon nap around 2:30-3pm and sleep for 1-2 hours.  After that nap is over you eat dinner (veggie) and sometimes a desert baby food.  You love puffs to snack on.  You will put a handful in your mouth at once.  You don't really care for the yogurt melts anymore.  We have been trying to give you sippy cups more often.  I finally found one that you like and will drink out of but you still prefer a bottle.  I was really hoping to have you broke of your bottle by the time Harrison gets here but it is not looking good.

Clothes: You wear 2T is just about everything.  You have a couple of 3t shirts that you wear occationally but they are a little big. You wear a size 6-7 in shoes.

This is the best picture I could get with your stuff dog that we do every month.

You started walking this month and are getting better and better everyday.  I love your monster face!!  You also know what the indian says.

You love all your toys you got for your birthday.

12 Month Well Visit

Dr. Carroll said everything looked great!  You are super healthy.

Here you are showing me your boo boo.  They had to prick your finger (you didn't cry) and you were obsessed with the bandage.

You also had to get shots.  You weren't too crazy about those but calmed down after just a min.

Lincoln's 1st picture with Harrison

You would have thought I was holding Harrison because Lincoln was all over me.  I can tell he is going to be a little jealous sharing the spotlight with his younger brother.  Can't you tell he looks thrilled?

Mall Fun

Our local mall, Hamilton Place, has a playground in the middle.  My mom took Lincoln for the first time today and he had a blast.
