Lincoln- 20 Months

Weight: 35lbs (up 3 lbs from last month)

Height: 36 inches

Clothes: You wear mostly 2t in shorts and 3t in shirts.  You wear size 8 shoes.
Food: You have started eating a little better.  You love to eat spaghetti. You are quite the picky eater. You love pizza, cheese puffs and babanas.  We have found out that you will try new things but only on your own time.  You love to use a fork so I will just give you a couple different things on your plate.  Eventually you will stab something and stick it in your mouth.
Words: DaDa, MaMa, Bye, NumNum, hi, backpack, thank you, truck, Tay Tay, Pop Pop, hi, bottle, up, choo choo, Dex, socks, sit, boom, this, yes, hop, ice, ten, nine, hot, there, Bot

Sleep:You usually got to bed about 9:30pm and wake up around 7:30am.  You take a nap around 11:30am and wake up between 2pm-2:30pm.

Diapers: Size 6

We changed your bed from a crib to a toddler bed and you absolutely love it.  If I would have know it was going to go over this well we would have done it sooner.  You are really starting to become a little boy and not a baby anymore.  It makes me happy and sad all at the same time.  You still love your brother and always want to give him love.  He has started to pay you back for all your hard loving by pulling your hair.  You get so upset when he does it.  You still love your blanket and if it is possible I think you are getting even more attached to it.  Team Umizoomi is your favorite show right now.  You will yell out numbers when they are counting.  You are full of personality and all boy.  It takes a lot for you to get hurt and cry.  you are not afraid of anything and this worries me.  I guess I should get used to it having two boys.

Little Mozart

Christian got the idea to put Harrison in front of Lincoln's little piano the other day.  Harrison loves to bang on things especially if it makes some kind of noise.  He LOVED it!

Of course, big brother had to join in on the fun.  I love these two :)

Family Beach Trip- Part 4

Monday morning we loaded everything up and headed home.  It was such a nice and relaxing trip.  I actually felt rested when we got home and didn't feel like I needed a couple of days to recoup.  We would get up early in the morning, eat breakfast and head to the beach or pool.  At nap time we would all go and take a nap.  After naps and lunch we would go back to the pool until it was time for bed.  I can't believe my husband agreed to eat pizza three times in two days.  Lincoln and I love pizza but Christian doesn't like it as much as we do.  We only went out to eat once.  This was our first just family trip and it was great.  It was nice not to have to worry about anyone else and do what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it.  I have a feeling we are going to be having a lot more of these in the future.

Family Beach Trip- Part 3

Sunday we decided to go out to eat for a late lunch.  Our hotel was next door to several restaurants so we just walked.
Lincoln & Harrison didn't seem to mind being pulled around.

The wind was blowing so hard.  My hair was a mess.  Oh well!

Lincoln had a slight meltdown but thankfully it didn't last long.

After dinner we had gellatin.  I was a little sceptical but it was really good.  Lincoln loved the little cones.

Harrison was a huge fan.  We made the mistake of giving him some then he cried all the way back to the hotel.

I was on the patio and Lincoln was inside.  He climbed on top the the air conditioner with his pizza to say hi.  I thought the pic turned out really cool.

Family Beach Trip- Part 1

Last Monday Christian called and said he booked us a room for the beach and he hoped I wasn't mad.  Mad definetely wasn't the word.  It would be more like shocked and excited.  Everything has been so crazy with the house and we rarely ever have any time to sit and relax or spend any quality time as a family.  The more I thought about it the more excited I got.  Lincoln loves any and every thing to do with water.  Harrison loves to take a bath so I figured he would love the pool.  Friday after work we loaded everything up and headed to Fort Walton.
We arrived at the hotel about 2am Saturday morning and guess who woke up?  Both boys woke up when we were trying to transport them to the room and were ready to hang out and party. :)

Harrison ready to go to the beach for the first time.

Harrison in the wagon.

This little boy loved the ocean.

H Man hanging out in the tent.

He thought it was so funny to throw the sand in the air.

H Man had enough and decided to take a nap.

Our hotel had a kids splash park.  Lincoln didn't know what to think about the water squirting everywhere.  Plus it was cold!

This wagon was a life saver!  Both boys loved to ride in it and it was easy to put them in and go.

Easter 2012

Once we were finished opening Easter baskets we got ready to head to my grandparent's house.  It was a little past Lincoln's nap time so he fell asleep on the way up the mountain.  As soon as we got him in out of the car and tried to lay him down he woke up.  We figured we would just go with it since it was a holiday.  They grilled fish and burgers so I brought a pizza for me and Lincoln.  We enjoyed getting to see our family from Atlanta.

Lincoln and Greyson hanging out eating puffcorn.

Pawpaw took the little boys for a bike ride.

Harrison and Daddy playing

Lincoln had a blast after the ride and didn't want to get out.

Lincoln did much better hunting eggs this time.  Dex and I would point and he would go get the egg and put it in his basket.

Look at that excitement!

The plastic eggs usually have money in them.  Lincoln loved the ones with changed and wanted to break them open.  He didn't care anything about the ones with dollar bills.

One of the scariest moments happened after the egg hunt.  I was at the top counting all of Lincoln's eggs to see how many were missing.  I thought Uncle Dex had Lincoln but he wasn't paying attention.  Lincoln started to reach for his hand and fell half was down my grandparent's brick steps.  Lincoln was screaming at the top of his lungs.  I grabbed him and ran inside.  Christian and Harrison was taking a nap inside and he ran in the living room to see what was wrong.  A huge knot had already poped up on his forehead and the side of his face was scraped up.  He was pitiful.  Once I got his almost calmed down I asked him if he wanted to take a bath.  Anything to do with water is like a cure all for him.  He of course said "ess" (yes) so we headed to the bathroom.  After taking a quick bath he was much better.  He was still a little upset but better than he was 15 minutes before that.  He was also exhausted and wanted to go to sleep.  Of course we couldnt' let him sleep for at least an hour so that made matters a little worse for him.

My poor baby boy getting love from Popsy.

Greyson wearing Harrison's hat.  Greyson is 14 months old and Harrison is 6 months old.  What can I say my boys have big heads.

My sweet Harrison always ready with a smile.

I guess we should have taken the family picture earlier. We will always remember Lincoln's accident (like I could ever forget).  Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.
