Leaving On A Jet Plane

We left the house bright and early this morning at 6am and headed for the Nashville airport.

We got stuck in a little traffic and arrived about an hour before our plane was scheduled to leave. After checking in and going through security we only had about 15 minutes to spare. Once we got to our gate they said there was a delay because they had to check a few things on the plane. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and arrives just in time to start boarding.

Here we are getting ready for take off. The flight from Nashville to Denver was great! It was the boys nap time so they both slept most of the way.

Lincoln buckled in amd ready to go.

Harrison was excited for his first plane ride.

This is how Lincoln slept most of the way.

Once we landed in Denver we got a quick bite to eat. We really cut it close and arrived at the gate when they were boarding the last passengers. The flight from Denver to San Diego wasn't as smooth as the previous flight. Lincoln was whining because we had to wake him up from his nap. Then I think his ear started bothering him once we started to descend.
After arriving in San Diego we put the boys in the stroller and Lincoln was out within minutes.

We are headed to meet the family for dinner now. Disneyland tomorrow!!!

Lyla's 4th Birthday Under the Sea

Our friends, The Tripps, had their oldest daughter, Lyla's birthday party at the local splash park.  It was a blast!  This was our family's first visit and I believe we will be taking a trip back but it will probably be next summer.  Lyla's party theme was Little Mermaid with happens to be my favorite Disney move.  Vanessa took a lot more pictures and you can seem them here.

Lincoln had just woke up from a nap so it took him a little while to adjust.

Harrison loved the water right away!

Ready to play!

He climbed up the latter on the slide and slid down all by himself.

Lincoln covered his eyes when we were trying to get him to talk to Hannah.

Can you tell Lincoln enjoyed his cupcake?

H-Man loved the cheetos

Umirific 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Lincoln's 2nd birthday at Pump it Up.  We had a blast.  It was so much easier on me than last year.  All I had to do was send out invitations (they provided some but I decided to do a personalized one), bring cupcakes, drinks and chips.  We gave everything to them when we got there and they set it all up when it was party time.  Yes, it was expensive but if we would have had a party anywhere else I would have probably spent more money and still had to decorate and clean up.

The awesome invitation made by a lady on etsy but she doesn't have a profile anymore.  His cute shirt was by CrissCrossCreations.  It took a while to find a customizable Umizoomi shirt.
Seriously, this boy is so cute!!

Get ready for a picture overload!

He loved jumping!

Time for cupcakes!!

Family pic...my boys were more interested in eating their cupcakes.  I don't blame them though because Nana makes awesome cupcakes.

Harrison loved his cupcake.

The cupcakes.

Lincoln decided Aunt T needed to eat some cupcake.

Lincoln was ready to go.  He wanted some milk and to lay down.

The party turned out really well.  I think everyone enjoyed themselves and I actually got to enjoy it too instead of worrying about everything.  I got to go and play with my kids and didn't feel like I had to entertain anyone.
