Harrison- 2 Months

Weight: 11lbs2oz- 50th percentile

Length: 23 inches- 50th percentile

Clothes: You are finally growing into your 3 mo clothes.  You can still wear some newborn things though.

Food:  You are still a breastfeed baby.  We don't really have a schedule during the day.  You usually got to bed around 10pm and sleep until about 4am.  You are still spitting up a lot but Dr. Carroll said it was nothing to worry about as long as it didn't seem to bother you and it was when we were burping you.  You don't seem to spit up very much when you take a bottle.

Sleep:  You usually only wake up once during the night.  Sometimes you sleep most of the day and sometimes you want to play.  I really need to start working on getting you on a schedule.

Diapers: Size 1

You are so alert now.  You love to talk and smile at Mommy and Daddy.

You don't sleep well when it is totally quite.  I guess you are use to lots of noise with your big brother around.

You have been holding your head up since you were born but not for long periods of time.  I think you have almost got it mastered now.  You have also got cradle cap right now and it is about to drive me crazy!

  1. Atticus used to spit up, too, but after a lot of reading, I stopped burping him. The US is the only country that burps a BF baby. If a baby eats out of a bottle, they need to be burped, but a baby that eats at the breast (unless they latch off/on a lot during the nursing session) usually will not need to burp. If they do need to burp, they'll do it on their own. People thought I was crazy, but Atticus stopped spitting up, and occasionally he'd burp on his own. Try it for a couple days, and see if it helps. :)
