Baby #2- 24 Weeks

How far along: 24 weeks

Size of Baby: banana

Big Brother Lincoln: Lincoln is all over the place.  I am getting really excited about his 1st birthday party!

Total weight gain: 18lbs I am going to be a total fatty at this pace!  Oh well it won't be the first time!

Maternity clothes: I can still wear some non maternity shirts and cardigans.

Gender: It's a BOY!! Harrison Joseph Barajas

Movement: He moves a lot!!

Sleep: I am sleeping much better since I got a new snuggle pillow.

Symptoms: I wear out easily and have some aches and pains.

What I Miss: Being able to handle Lincoln all day.  Once I watch him for a few hours I am exhausted!!

Cravings: pizza

Best Moment this Week: Finding a piece of land that my husband and I both like.  Hopefully things will work out with us purchasing it.

What I'm Looking Forward to: Finding out for sure if we are going to buy the land on the golf course.

Baby #2- 23 Weeks

23 Weeks

How far along: 23 weeks

Size of Baby: papaya (I'm not really sure why it say the same fruit again this week.)

 

Big Brother Lincoln: Lincoln is all over the place.  He almost took his first step but then chickened out right before he did it.

 

Total weight gain: 15lbs..that means I have only gained 1 lb in the last two weeks.  I guess stress will do that :)

 

Maternity clothes: I can still wear some non maternity shirts.

Gender: It's a BOY!! Harrison Joseph Barajas

Movement: He moves a lot!!

Sleep: I am not sleeping good at all right now.  I think I just have too much on my mind right now.

 

Symptoms: I wear out easily and have some aches and pains.

 

What I Miss: My old house right now.  We sold it last week.

 

Cravings: pizza

 

Best Moment this Week: Selling our house was the best and scaries moment this week.  I am starting to feel a little better about the whole situation I just wish we could find some land we like to build on.  I also had a fabulous date night with my hubby that was long overdue and it was great to spend some time together just the two of us.

 

What I'm Looking Forward to: Finding land!!

Watering the Plants

My child loves water!!  It doesn't matter if it is a bath, swimming, water hose, the dogs water or even the toilet water he wants to plan in it.  Since it has been in the high 90's in Trenton lately I let Lincoln help me water the plants.

He had a blast!  We were both soaked by the time it was over but it was worth it :)

Big Brother Lincoln: Lincoln is standing up more and more on his own.

 

Total weight gain: A million pounds...I'm actually not sure since we haven't been staying at home where my scale is.

 

Maternity clothes: I can still wear some non maternity things.

Gender: It's a BOY!! Harrison Joseph Barajas

Movement: He moves a lot!!

Sleep: Not sleeping that great right now but there has been a lot going on.

Symptoms: I wear out easily and have some aches and pains.

 

What I Miss: Not having to try to limit myself on the times I pick up my son.

 

Cravings: nachos & cheese

 

Best Moment this Week: The thought of selling our house.

What I'm Looking Forward to: Figuring out if we are selling our house or not.

Shuttle Launch 5/16/11

We were all very excited to learn that there was going to be a shuttle launch the day we were leaving on the cruise.  Since our hotel was only a couple of miles from the Kennedy Space center we could just stand in the parking lot and watch.  My husband is a huge space person so this was a really big deal to him.

I know it is hard to make anything of these pictures but the bright light in the middle is the shuttle.

Christina and I got each other new watches for our anniversary.  My husband loves watches!! 

My watch is beautiful!  Plus I will never have to put a battery in it!

Christian's watch is pretty awesome too!

Christian also surprised me with some hoop earrings that have regular diamond and black diamonds on them.  I forgot to take a picture of them.  They are gorgeous!

Lincoln Lately- May 2011

Lincoln loves the dog bowls and trys to find anyway he can to play in their water and eat some of their food.  He doesn't actually eat the food he just puts it in his mouth then I have to fish it out.  This time he got trapped trying to get back to the living room.

Then he decided to climb on the chairs.

He learned how to palm a ball.  His Dad was so proud.

He loves to play in the refrigerator.

He loved putting the cold can in his mouth.

He usually goes outside with Daddy to help water the plants in the evening.

Bath time is always fun!

Bath toys are always a yummy snack :)

Of course he has to patty cake.

After his bath we lay him on the rug in his room and put a diaper and pajamas on him.  He is always trying to get away.  This time he succeeded so I had to snap a couple of pics.  He loves to pull the books off of his book shelf.

He is standing up more and more on his own.  I am not ready for him to walk yet.

We had a family day downtown.  We went to eat at Buffalo Wild wings then had Rita's Italian Ice afterwards.  Mine and Lincoln's favorite is the Pear flavor.
