Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Barajas boys! As you can tell Harrison was not a fan of Santa. In his defense, he was hungry and that little boy gets angry when he is ready to eat. :)

Exhaustion

I have been a total blogging slacker the past month. We have been in the process of finishing things up at the new house and moving. Along with work being crazy and trying to finish up Christmas shopping it has left little time to blog. I am hoping to get back in a better routine soon. Since I use this as my scrapbook (who has time to do a real scrapbook anymore) I have about a million post to do. Anyways, Daddy has been working on the house non stop this weekend so we can have our final appraisal done this Friday. Yesterday was my Grandmothers birthday so The boys and I headed up the mountain to celebrate at my grandparents house.

Harrison with his cousin Hannah. My Grandparents live on the bluff and have a gorgeous view of the valley.

The boys enjoyed playing in the leaves with Hannah and Potts.

They also enjoyed playing a few jingles on the piano. I am pretty sure my grandparents were happy to see us leave after a few hours. :) as soon as we got there Lincoln shattered a Christmas ball. Then there was crumbs all over the floor. They figured out how to turn on their tv and kept turning it on and off. Despite the two little tornadoes trying to destroy everything we had a great time. It was nice to have dinner with the family and visit for a little while.

Once we got home I gave the boys a bath and we played a little while. Harrison was getting tired so I started rocking him then Lincoln wanted to get in the chair with us. I figured he would sit there for a minute then get down because there was no way he was ready for bed. This child likes to stay up late. I was wrong. After just a few minutes he was asleep. There was no way I could get up so I fell asleep too.

Christian snapped this picture when he finally came upstairs from working. I love it! It amazes me how once you become a parent you can sleep anywhere and in any position. Use to I could only fall asleep laying down on my stomach and now the only thing I need is half a chance to fall asleep and I am done.

Lincoln's Preschool- 10/24/12

Nothing real eventful happened at preschool but I like to keep a document of all the classes.  Lincoln playing with the  "airpain".

Lincoln and Rhett playing with dinosaurs and farm animals.

Singing the itsy bitsy spider.

We made a mouse and a pumpkin for our craft.

Halloween 2012

The boys were Elmo and Cookie Monster for Halloween this year.  You can read about last year here.  I can hardly handle all this cuteness!  We decided not to take them trick or treating but rather go to a Trunk or Treat at my parents church.  It is the way to go when you have young children that have to ride in a car seat.  We will be going to this for the next few years for sure.  The boys costumes were a huge hit!
Harrison has almost got the walking thing down.

It took a while for Lincoln to realize what was going on.

Cookie Monster taking a break.

Once he got a couple of suckers he figured it out.  He didn't want people to put the candy in his basket though.  He wanted to get it out of their hand and put it in his basket himself.

Sesame Street family (please ignore my double chin)

Time to see what we got...

Harrison tried to eat everything...paper and all.

Lincoln is eating smarties off the pavement and Harrison is trying to eat a gumball with the plastic still on it.

Can you tell my boys really wanted to get a picture made with their Mom?

We stopped by my Nanny's house on the way home and got a picture of my cousin, his girlfriend and their two girls.

Last but not least, my beautiful niece in her Halloween outfit I bought her.  I love her!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Cookie Monster and Elmo!

We are looking forward to a little Truck or Treat at the church tonight.  I am so thankful it has warmed up some so we aren't freezing.  I hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween.  There will be about a million pictures of these two cuties after tonight.  Hopefully, there will be ones where Lincoln is smiling. :)

Old McDonald Farm

We finally made our way out to the pumpkin farm on Saturday, October 20th.  We went to a new one this year in Sale Creek, TN called Old McDonald's Farm.  This one was pretty neat but definetely geared more towards a little bit older kids.  I think the boys had fun but I'm not sure if we will go back again next year.  You can see our trip last year here and 2010 here.

They both loved the corn bin.

Someone kept trying to eat the corn.

The boys looking at the cows and goats.

On to the petting zoo.

Harrison was no afraid to pet anything.

Lincoln only wanted to pet the ones in the cages and not the ones walking around.

Lincoln & Harrison holding up traffic in the tunnel.

I think this picture is so cool.  It was a total accident but I am so happy with it.

I wanted a picture with the boys and it was a total FAIL.

Lincoln was playing with mine or Christian's phone and Harrison was watching him.

Tunnel time again!

Don't you just love when you ask some random stranger to take your picture and they do the crappiest job ever?  I know I should be thankful they even took the picture but when you cut off most of the cuteness of the picture was it even worth it?

Lincoln kept saying pumpkin and giving them hugs.

The main reason I didn't care for this place was the pumpkins.  It was $22 for Christian and I to get in the place.  Thankfully, the boys were free or I really would have been mad.  Anyways, we get out to the pumpkin field and they tell us we are only allowed to get a pie pumpkin which is the size of the pumpkin with Harrison in the picture below or smaller.  If we get anything bigger we have to pay.  I'm not saying I wanted a gigantic pumpkin but I wanted a decent size one.  Then we still had to pay $1 when we got back for taxes.  No one was willing to help in any way either.  Christian grabbed both boys and got them back on the truck and I was trying to carry 4 pumpkins.  I ended up only getting three because as soon as I got on they were pulling out.  The selection was awful as well.
