Lincoln- 5 Months

5 Months!!

Weight: 21 lbs

You only gained 8 oz this month!!  Woohoo!!

Length: 26 inches

Sleep: You sleep through the night. You usually go to bed between 8 and 8:30 and wake up around 6:30. You have been sleeping in your carrier since your last doc. appt because you got an ear infection and couldn't stand to lay all the way down.  I know that you don't need to be sleeping in your carrier but you look so comfortable.

Diapers: You wear size 4 diapers.

Food: You are still eating 6oz every 3-4 hours during the day. We put about a teaspoon of cereal in your bottle to thicken it up a little. We started feeding you baby food after you last doctors appt. and you LOVE it!  Pears seem to be your favorite and bananas are your least favorite.  You always make funny faces with the first couple of bites of bananas.  You  usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, a fruit for lunch and a veggie for dinner.  We haven't tried the meats yet but we will soon.

Clothes:  You are wearing a few 9 month things but mostly 12 mo clothes.  It is getting harder and harder to find you clothes now especially sleepers.  Most everything that I find now is a shirt and pants and I hate putting you in stuff like that.  There isn't much "baby" type clothes in 12 mo.

 

You are always happy and smiling.  You love to be around crowds.  I am pretty sure you take that from your Daddy. :)  You still love your jumperoo and chomper blankets.  You haven't really shown any interest in crawling.  You will try to roll over some but you can't figure out with to do with your arm and just give up.  You are mesmorized by Yo Gabba Gabba.  You can be really upset and we can turn on YGG and you just stop and stare at the TV.

You don't really care for belly time.  About 5 min. and you are over it!

You are starting to sit up a little on your own.

You have the most precious smile!

Bath time is still your favorite.  I bought you some new toys and you will just sit and play.
