Dr. Appt.

My doctor's appt. went good today.  The doctor said everything is looking great!  Only 9.5 weeks to go!!

New Furniture & Cody's 8th grade graduation

My mom decided that she wanted to buy Christian and I new end tables for the living room.  I have been griping about our end tables and coffee table since we got them 4 years ago.  I have pretty much given up on the idea and figured we would get new ones in the next few years.  Then just out of the blue my called and asked if I wanted to go and look at new ones.  We went to the furniture store and found some that I loved!

I love the table and they are going to be so much easier to clean than the glass ones that I had.  After finding the tables my mom started asking me about my dining room suite.  I had a very nice dining room suite but I hated it.  It was a glass top table and the chairs had mauve cushions.  I had covers over the cushions but they never stayed on.  We then proceded to the dining room tables.  I have been wanting a bar heighth table but figured that was something else we would eventually get.  My mom came to the rescue!  She was determined that I was going to find a dining room suite I like as well and I did!

My mom came to the house the next day with her cleaning lady and cleaned the whole house.  She wants everything to be perfect when the baby gets here.  I told her to do whatever she wanted so she rearranged several things and got rid of a lot of pictures but it looks great!!!  I am so thankful to have a such a wonderful (and giving) mother :)

My husband's youngest brother graduated from 8th Grade on Tuesday.  Here is a pic of him receiving his diploma.  Congrats Cody!!

Tasia & Brett's Wedding- May 22, 2010

My sister got married this past weekend.  It was a beautiful wedding!!  Tasia and Brett are high school sweethearts and decided to get married after dating for about 10 years.  I am so happy for them both!  Christian and I had a blast at the wedding and it was nice to see some family that I haven't seen in years.

Our Anniversary Dinner

Since we just got back from vacation on Tuesday we decided not to go out to dinner to celebrate.  Plus I am usually exhausted after working all day and don't feel like doing anything.  My sweet husband decided to surprise me with Chick fil A for dinner!  He bought a huge tray of chicken fingers and a gallon of lemonade.  I have craved their lemonade the whole time I've been pregnant.  Here is a pic our the chicken finger tray, the top of our wedding cake, the lemonade and the champagne that was sent to our room after our wedding.  We were planning on opening the bottle this year but since I'm pregnant we decided to wait :)

I love it!  He is so thoughtful!!

I went the traditional route and bought paper...we kind of.  I got him two tickets to watch the Atlanta Braves and a hotel for after the game.

We are also going to go to the Georgia Aquarium the next day.  We both have wanted to go for a while now but just haven't had the chance. 

I also got us both a shirt/jersey to wear to the game.

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful and amazing husband!  I can't believe it has already been a year since we got married.  This past year has been great!  I can't understand why everyone says the first year is the hardest....It was very easy for us :)  I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.  Christian is my best friend and I can't wait to see what an amazing father he is going to be!  Here are a few pics from our wedding in paradise!!
