Sweet Boys

I went back in Lincoln's room the other day and this is what I found.  My two sweet boys sitting in their matching chairs watching cartoons together.  These are the moments I treasure the most!

Disney on Ice

A few weeks ago (10/13/12) we took the boys to see Disney on Ice.  A girl that I went to high school with had accidently bought double tickets and posted on facebook about selling the extra ones.  I've never been to Disney on Ice so I didn't know what the ticket prices were and I really wanted good seats.  With my kids being younger they have a short attention span and I wanted to be right up on the action.  The girl said that these were VIP tickets but I didn't know what that meant.  When we sat down in our seat we even double checked that they were the right ones because they were super close.  We were only four rows away from the ice.  Christian and I were pumped!  **Sidnote- When we were parking there were a million little girls walking inside in their princess dresses.  Christian asked if I was bringing our boys to a girl thing.  I said no but i really wasn't sure.  Thankfully, this show was definetely centered more around boys**

Christian and I enjoyed the rest of the show while the boys slept.  We both love anything to do with Disney so we liked it.

Like Father Like Son

Harrison has been a little under the weather here lately.  He so graciously gave his virus to everyone in the house.  See, my kids do know how to share! :)  Anyways, if (that should say when) he wakes up in the middle of the night I put him in bed with us.  I know it is not a good habit to start but frankly I am tired and whatever works best for us and gets me the most sleep I am going to go with.  Harrison is starting to act more and more like his Daddy.  He sleeps like him, eats like him and looks a lot like him.

Harrison's Preschool- 10/5/12

This was Harrison's first class without his big brother.  He did great!  He is very easy going and loves crawling around everywhere and playing with things.  His favorite toys in the classroom is the fake food.  He is always trying to eat it. 

I think he was trying to make an escape here.

Lincoln's Preschool- 10/3/12

This was Lincoln's first time in his new preschool class since we miss the first day and he went to his brother's class.  I am so thankful that I know 3 of the Mom's in the class.  I would like to think of myself as an outgoing person but I seem to have trouble making new friends.  Once the initial ice is broken I am usually good to go but getting to that point is a little hard for me.  Anyways, I am just glad I know a couple of people.

During music time we did Hickory Dickery Dock.  We didn't have any clocks so we had to improvise with bricks.

At the beginning and end of each year Ms. Diane has us trace our childs hand, weigh them and see how tall they are.  It is really neat to compare them to the time before.
