Downtown Chattanooga

Every few months we try to get together with my Dad and Sister.  We would like to see them more often but it doesn't seem to workout with all of our busy schedules.  We all met at Mellow Mushroom in Downtown Chattanooga for lunch then headed to play in the water beside the TN Aquarium.  My boys love the water!

After we got our feel for the water beside the aquarium we decided to walk across the bridge to Coolidge Park to ride the carousel and play in the fountains.  Of course, once we made it across the bridge the carousel was closed.  We tried to play in the fountains for a few minutes but there was a million people there with the same idea.  I can't handle large crowds and my kids running around.  It makes me a nervous wreck!  We decided to sit on a blanket and enjoy the nice day.  That lasted about 5 seconds with the boys.  They were ready to run around.  Thankfully, Nana was there to chase them around.

February 2013

Watching Dora with my boys.

Lincoln sat down in the basket and said, "I tuck Mommy"

He found his pajama top and tried to put it on as pants...at least he is trying.

Tay Tay, Uncle B and Ella in the first snow.

Lincoln is liking strawberries right now.  We will see how long it lasts.

Harrison wants to use a fork and spoon by himself now.  He hasn't quite got it figured out but he is almost there.

When I make everyone's plate for dinner I always put a little of everything on both boys plates.  Harrison is always up for trying new things but Lincoln not so much (he is just like me).  Anyways, we had breakfast for dinner on this particular night which included bacon, eggs, biscuits and fried potatoes.  As soon as Christian sat Lincoln's plate in front of him he said bacon and ate it all up.  He ended up eating about 4 pieces.  Hopefully this trend will continue.

H-Man was exhausted and fell asleep during dinner.

We had pizza this night.  With my boys if they really like something they rub it all over their faces and head.  I'm not really sure why they do this but this is how I know.

Bathtime for pizza boys.

Harrison fell asleep again on Lincoln's bed.

Umirific 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Lincoln's 2nd birthday at Pump it Up.  We had a blast.  It was so much easier on me than last year.  All I had to do was send out invitations (they provided some but I decided to do a personalized one), bring cupcakes, drinks and chips.  We gave everything to them when we got there and they set it all up when it was party time.  Yes, it was expensive but if we would have had a party anywhere else I would have probably spent more money and still had to decorate and clean up.

The awesome invitation made by a lady on etsy but she doesn't have a profile anymore.  His cute shirt was by CrissCrossCreations.  It took a while to find a customizable Umizoomi shirt.
Seriously, this boy is so cute!!

Get ready for a picture overload!

He loved jumping!

Time for cupcakes!!

Family pic...my boys were more interested in eating their cupcakes.  I don't blame them though because Nana makes awesome cupcakes.

Harrison loved his cupcake.

The cupcakes.

Lincoln decided Aunt T needed to eat some cupcake.

Lincoln was ready to go.  He wanted some milk and to lay down.

The party turned out really well.  I think everyone enjoyed themselves and I actually got to enjoy it too instead of worrying about everything.  I got to go and play with my kids and didn't feel like I had to entertain anyone.
