First Tooth

Harrison cut his first tooth on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
I knew it was going to happen soon because his gums where swollen and you could see the tooth.  The other top one should be through any day now.

Friday Foto Faves

This is my niece Ella Reese.  I can't wait to meet her and spoil her and buy her all the frilly stuff I can't buy for my kids. :)

Harrison feel asleep sitting up.

This is how I fould Lincoln one morning when I went in his room to get him up.

The boys love the sliding doors at Memaw's house.

H-Man after his bath.

So sweet!  Lincoln rarely ever sleeps with us.  We agreed very early on that we didn't want to make a habit of our kids sleeping with us.  Harrison had spent the night with Grammy and when we got home Christian went to bed before I did.  I figured he had put Lincoln to bed.  Nope, they were cuddled up snoozing away with the TV blaring the space channel.

Bath time at Grammy's house.  Monday night Christian and I had to go and buy all new paint for our house.  Yes, we have already bought enough paint to cover a football field and our house has been paint but it looked awful!!!  We ended up fired the painters and hiring someone else.  Everything has to be redone.  Anyways, the boys spent the evening with Grammy and Grandad.  They always have a blast with them.

Lincoln loves the new chair at Grammy's so much he decided to take a nap in it.

This is one of Lincoln's new places to watch TV.  He also likes to stand on the toy box and try to climb over the rail into his bed.

My first solo trip to the grocery store with both kids.

Lincoln making a mess with his chips and salsa.

He had to have an early bath because he had an allergic reaction to the cheese and salsa on his face.  This happens all the time with just a about anything that touches his face.  We have to be careful about with lotions and sunscreens we use on him.  It goes away shortly after whatever is on him is washed off.

Lincoln- 22 Months

Weight: 35lbs

Height: 38inches
Clothes: You can still wear most of your 2t shorts but most of the shirts are getting a little tight.  You are still in size 8 shoes.  Any clothes that I buy you I buy 3T.
Food:
You are not a very good eater.  You have good days when you want to eat.  The the very next day you don't want anything to do with the things you really liked the day before and want to just drink milk all day.  We have been trying to limit the amount of milk you get trying to get you to eat more.  We have been bribing you too.  I am not proud to say it but it works sometimes and even though you are getting a couple of reese pieces you are eating food as well.

Words: DaDa, MaMa, Bye, NumNum, hi, backpack, thank you, truck, Tay Tay, Pop Pop, bottle, up, choo choo, Dex, socks, sit, boom, this, yes, hop, ice, ten, nine, hot, there, Bot, no, bath, two, you call a cookie, cook, Tish, two, six, eight, Elmo, fish, duck, Mopsy (Motts), Popsy (Potts), Harris (Hurris), chips, you are repeating more and more words everyday.

Mopsy was so excited that you can say her name now even if it is not exactly what she wanted to be called.  I love that you can say your brothers name.  It is rare that we can get you to say it but it is adorable.
Sleep:You usually got to bed about 9:30pm and wake up around 7:30am.  You take a nap around 11:30am and wake up between 2pm-2:30pm.

Diapers: Size 6

Harrison- 8 Months

Weight:
Length:
Clothes: Everything is at least 12-18 months.  You also have a couple of 24 month things you wear.  You have hit a huge growth spurt.

Food:  You take a bottle 6-8oz bottle usually 4 times a day.  Every now and then you will wake up really early and drink a bottle but it is rare.  The Zantac is still working it's miracles.  I can't believe how much better the spitting up has gotten since you have been on the medicine.
Sleep:  You have been sleeping through the night most of the time.  Occationally you will wake up at about 5am, drink a bottle and go right back to sleep. You have started wanting to go to bed earlier this month.  As soo as you get out of the bath you are ready to go to bed and you mean it.  I have been putting you to sleep between 7:30&8pm.

Diapers: We didn't get to finish using up the size 3 diapers because you were just too big for them.  I didn't want you to be uncomfortable so we went ahead and moved you up to size 4.

I can see your two top teeth about to cut through.  You are a little drool monster now.  I guess that is better than a puke monster. :)

You refused to sit still during your pictures.  I always take one with the blue dog but this is the best I could get this month.

You also said your first word this month "Dada".

You loved your bear though.  You were loving it and trying to eat it.

You want to crawl so bad!!  Even without being able to crawl you can make your way around a room if you are trying to get something.

There was no sitting still in the car either.

You were amazed at the rug in your room.  You rarely ever sit on your floor in your room and we don't have carpet anywhere in the house.

Then you figured out you had something stuck to your shirt.  The sticker is now a crumbled mess.

You are almost always happy.  You have a meltdown every night after your bath when I am putting on your pajamas.  Right when I start to put them on it is like you realize you are tired and ready for a bottle.

Sunday Funday-6/3/12

Christian and I had to go and buy our big boy a new car seat so we met my parents in Chattanooga to eat.  Mopsy & Popsy also had a big surprise for Lincoln after seeing him in the pink jeep the day before.
Waiting on a table

I still can't believe I have a blue eyed little boy.

Lincoln got to pick out his very first powerwheels!!  Of course, Popsy was leaning towards the Escalade so Lincoln could have a car like his.  My parents have been talking about buying him a car since I found out I was pregnant.  Lincoln loved it!  He was a little mad because all the ones at Toys R Us didn't have batteries in them so he couldn't drive them.  He still had to test out every single one at least once.

He was worn out on the way to Grammys from all the excitement at Toys R Us.  I just love his chubby cheeks :)

This little boy was not tired.  He was excited to see Grammy and Grandad.

Once Lincoln got up from his nap it was time to go swimming at Memaw and Poppy's house.  He loves the water.  Desi convinced him to wear shades for a few minutes.

Grammy, Harrison & Poppy

Memaw has always stuck her teeth our playing with the kids.  It is funny to watch then when they get older because they can't understand why they can't stick their teeth out too.

Harrison & Alex

Lincoln was still enjoying swimming with Dad in the cold water.  Thanksfully H-Man didn't want to go in so Mommy didn't have to freeze to death.

Harrison hanging out with Grammy outside.

Grammy handed Harrison a short cake biscuit to see what he would do.  He grabbed it and took a big bite.  He doesn't really well eating adult food and loves it too unlike his brother.

Cookout with the Tripps

Weekend before last we went to the Tripp's house for a cookout.  It was so wonderful to hang out with the gang.  It has been way too long.  We are all so busy that it leaves little time for visiting with friends.
My boys in the ball pit.
