Destin 2012- Beach Pics & Ruth Chris

I was determined to get some beach pictures on this trip.  We had dinner reservations at Ruth Chris that evening so I figure a few pics before dinner would be great.

Lincoln was more interested in sliding down the big mound of sand.

Wish my brother could have made the trip down.  The picture is not complete without him.

I have heard about Ruth Chris before but never really had any desire to try it.  I am not big on trying new places and I normally eat my steak well done.  The thought of paying $50 for a steak well done makes my husband cringe.  We have been eating more steak at home lately and I have been trying it cooked at about medium well and liked it.  My Dad was dying to go and promptly made us reservations when we discovered there was one in our condo complex.  I was a little worried about taking the boys to such a nice place but they did pretty good.  I ordered a steak (medium) and it was amazing!  It was probably the best steak I have ever ate.  Christian had steak and shrimp and said it was also delicious.  I meant to take pictures of our food but I forgot. :(

Lincoln got his shirt wet when we were washing off the sand after the beach pictures.

this is how Harrison spent most of the meal.

Once my Mom finished eating she took Lincoln outside so we could eat in peace.  After dinner I walked outside to find this...

Yes, my mom was letting my two year old play in the fountain at the nicest restauranct I've ever been to.  He was having a blast!

Can you tell he gets away with pretty much anything with Motts?

Lake Winnie- 9/8/12

My Dad runs a company in Dalton, GA and he also owns the company I work for.  Therefore we all work together (most of the time) and try to help each other out.  Every year the company in Dalton has a huge company picnic at Lake Winnie.  We have missed it for the past two years because I was either pregnant or had a newborn.  We finally got to go this year.  I love going and the boys seemed to enjoy it too.
It started raining as soon as we arrived.  Mommy was prepared with some cool spiderman ponchos for the boys.  Mommy and Daddy had to go and buy some.

Don't they look cute in their ponchos?

Lake Winnie has these gigantic fish that will eat anything.  Lincoln decided to feed them a few puffs.

The look on Lincoln's face is priceless!  He wasn't sure what to think once the horse started going up and down.

Potts and Lincoln driving the old cars.

Ice Cream break!  Can you tell they loved the push ups?
Needless to say we had to do complete outfit changes after this.

This was probably Lincoln's favorite ride.

Lincoln loved spinning around.

He was all smiles on the Hopper.

How precious is this little boy?

Lincoln is looking more and more like a little boy and not a toddler :(

Leaving On A Jet Plane

We left the house bright and early this morning at 6am and headed for the Nashville airport.

We got stuck in a little traffic and arrived about an hour before our plane was scheduled to leave. After checking in and going through security we only had about 15 minutes to spare. Once we got to our gate they said there was a delay because they had to check a few things on the plane. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and arrives just in time to start boarding.

Here we are getting ready for take off. The flight from Nashville to Denver was great! It was the boys nap time so they both slept most of the way.

Lincoln buckled in amd ready to go.

Harrison was excited for his first plane ride.

This is how Lincoln slept most of the way.

Once we landed in Denver we got a quick bite to eat. We really cut it close and arrived at the gate when they were boarding the last passengers. The flight from Denver to San Diego wasn't as smooth as the previous flight. Lincoln was whining because we had to wake him up from his nap. Then I think his ear started bothering him once we started to descend.
After arriving in San Diego we put the boys in the stroller and Lincoln was out within minutes.

We are headed to meet the family for dinner now. Disneyland tomorrow!!!
