Christina and I got each other new watches for our anniversary.  My husband loves watches!!

My watch is beautiful!  Plus I will never have to put a battery in it!

Christian's watch is pretty awesome too!

Christian also surprised me with some hoop earrings that have regular diamond and black diamonds on them.  I forgot to take a picture of them.  They are gorgeous!

Lincoln Lately- May 2011

Lincoln loves the dog bowls and trys to find anyway he can to play in their water and eat some of their food.  He doesn't actually eat the food he just puts it in his mouth then I have to fish it out.  This time he got trapped trying to get back to the living room.

Then he decided to climb on the chairs.

He learned how to palm a ball.  His Dad was so proud.

He loves to play in the refrigerator.

He loved putting the cold can in his mouth.

He usually goes outside with Daddy to help water the plants in the evening.

Bath time is always fun!

Bath toys are always a yummy snack :)

Of course he has to patty cake.

After his bath we lay him on the rug in his room and put a diaper and pajamas on him.  He is always trying to get away.  This time he succeeded so I had to snap a couple of pics.  He loves to pull the books off of his book shelf.

He is standing up more and more on his own.  I am not ready for him to walk yet.

We had a family day downtown.  We went to eat at Buffalo Wild wings then had Rita's Italian Ice afterwards.  Mine and Lincoln's favorite is the Pear flavor.

Lincoln- 10 Months

10 Months
Weight: 29 lbs 2oz

Length: 30 inches
Diapers: Size 5
Food: You eat a bottle when you first wake up. Then about 2 hours later you take a nap. When you wake up you take cereal or baby food then a bottle. We give you a 6oz bottle but you usually only eat about 4oz. At lunch you eat a fruit and take another bottle then you usually take about a 3 hour nap. You usually eat dinner around 5 or 5:30pm. You eat a veggie and take another bottle. At night we have been giving you 8oz before bed and sometimes oatmeal too just to fill you up. You still love fruit.  You do pretty good drinking out of a sippy cup most of the time.  You still eat stage 2 baby food.  Your favorites are, of course, the desserts.  You will still eat the veggies and fruit too.  We try not to give you desserts very often.  You have been loving all the little snack foods.  The yogurt melts are your favorite and you refuse to eat any of the generic brands.  Only gerber for you!!

Clothes: You are wearing mostly 24 mo.  Most of your shorts and tshirts are 2t or 24 mo.  You have a few things that are 18 mo that fit fine.  The 18 mo. short seem to be a little too tight though.  You are wearing size 4-5 shoes.  Your shoes are hard to find because your foot is very thick and wide.

You haven't gotten any new teeth in the last month but I think you are about to cut two more on bottom.  You had another ear infection this month and the antibiotics caused diarrhea which cause horrible diaper rash.  You were pitiful.  It got to the point to where everytime you would go to the bathroom I would but you in the bath tub to way you off.  The bath was the only thing that seemed to give you some relief.  I felt so bad for you.  Dr. Rawlings (not your pediatrician) gave us a prescription for some diaper rash cream.  As soon as we put it on you you screamed until we finally got it off of you.  He also changed your formula to a soy based formula for a couple of days.  He said milk based formulas seem to irritate the diaper rash.  We also had to give you 25mg of zinc everyday in your food for a few days.  It all seemed to help finally.

This is the best picture I could get with the blue dog.  You have started to say MaMa but not very often.  You will also say NuNu with means num nums or food.  I have called your bottle and baby food num nums from the very beginning for some reason and it has stuck.

You are crawling everywhere!!  Anytime you see the bathroom door open you are heading for the toilet to try to play in the water.  I have got to get some of those toilet seat safety things.

I can't believe that in two short months you are going to be a year old.  It is truly amazing how fast time flies by.   I am really looking forward to your birthday and have been working on all of the details for a while now.  You have started to really notice the dogs and want to touch them all of the time.  The dogs are curious about you but you kind of scared them when you crawling really fast towards them.  We have been giving you more and more table food.  You seem to like just about everything at this point.

Baby #2- 21 weeks

How far along: 21 weeks

Size of Baby: banana
Big Brother Lincoln:Lincoln finally got over his sickness and is feeling much better.
Total weight gain: 14 pounds...at least that is what the scale at the doctor's office said.
Maternity clothes: I can still wear some non maternity things.

Gender: It's a BOY!! Harrison Joseph Barajas

Movement: He moves a lot!!

Sleep: I am sleeping okay.  I usually get up once to go to the restroom.

Symptoms: My OB said that I do not need to be picking up Lincoln anymore...haha we'll see how that goes.  It is kind of hard to explain to a 10 month old that Mommy can't pick you up anymore.
What I Miss: Not having to try to limit myself on the times I pick up my son.
Cravings: sweet tea and peanut butter crackers
Best Moment this Week: Seeing Harrison on the ultrasound and finding out that everything is growing the way it is suppose to and he is healthy.

What I'm Looking Forward to: Getting my house back in order from getting the ceilings redone.
