Christmas with the Byers

For the past two years we have done Christmas with the Byers a few days before Christmas.  This year we did it the day before Christmas Eve.  They ordered yummy pizza (mine and Lincoln's fav) and we enjoyed some family time.
Pop Pop and Nana with the boys.

Aunt Tay Tay and Uncle B with the boys.

Our growing family.  We don't plan on repeated the tradition of having a new baby every Christmas like we have for the past two years.  Next year is Uncle B and Aunt Tay Tay's turn.

My big man trying to figure out what he wants to destroy. :)

Harrison just taking it all in.  Can you tell he is super excited about opening his presents?

Lincoln loved his new basketball goal from Nana and Pop Pop.

Aunt Tay Tay with her nephews.

Lincoln giving Harrison some love.  After he loved on him he tried to pull him out of the chair.  He didn't understand that this was Harrrison's because he has one that Tay Tay got him last year that he loves.

My precious little man.

Christmas with the In Laws

Normally we have Christmas with Christian's parents Christmas Eve night.  This year Corey and Whitney had to work so we decided to do it a few days early and we loved it. It was nice to not have to worry about getting home and getting to bed for Christmas the next morning and not be worn out already.  We also decided not to do presents for the adults.  It was nice not to have to worry and figure out what to buy everyone.  The kids are easy to buys and we could spend a little more on each kid.  Johneen set up a great food table and we enjoyed our family time.
Lincoln got a dancing Mickey Mouse from Grammy and Grandad.

He also got a new aquadoodle.  He loved being able to draw and I loved that it didn't make a mess. :)  he also figured out that he could suck the water out of the marker when he was thirsty.

Harrison's new outfit from Corey, Whit and Thatcher

Lincoln opening his gift from Corey, Whitney and Thatcher...a new work table!

Thatcher loved his new lego table from us.  Lincoln seemed to like it too!

Grammy made Lincoln, Harrison and Thatcher all new blankets with their names on them.  Lincoln with his new Mickey Mouse blanket.

Harrison's Lion King blanket.

Picture with Santa

Both boys did great!  Lincoln just stared at Santa.  Thankfully he was afraid of his so we didn't have a screaming little boy.  Harrison slept the whole time :)

Harrison- 2 Months

Weight: 11lbs2oz- 50th percentile

Length: 23 inches- 50th percentile

Clothes: You are finally growing into your 3 mo clothes.  You can still wear some newborn things though.

Food:  You are still a breastfeed baby.  We don't really have a schedule during the day.  You usually got to bed around 10pm and sleep until about 4am.  You are still spitting up a lot but Dr. Carroll said it was nothing to worry about as long as it didn't seem to bother you and it was when we were burping you.  You don't seem to spit up very much when you take a bottle.

Sleep:  You usually only wake up once during the night.  Sometimes you sleep most of the day and sometimes you want to play.  I really need to start working on getting you on a schedule.

Diapers: Size 1

You are so alert now.  You love to talk and smile at Mommy and Daddy.

You don't sleep well when it is totally quite.  I guess you are use to lots of noise with your big brother around.

You have been holding your head up since you were born but not for long periods of time.  I think you have almost got it mastered now.  You have also got cradle cap right now and it is about to drive me crazy!

Lincoln- 16 Months

Weight: 33.4 lbs
Height: 33 inches

Clothes: Still wearing mostly 2T and size 7-8 shoes.  I have started buying you size 3t in shirt so I can start drying your clothes in the dryer.

Food: We finally got rid of the bottle.  It actually happened the day before you turned 16 months old.  It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.  Don't get me wrong the first night was awful but then it was pretty smooth sailing after that.  Since the bottle is gone you eat so much better.  You love pizza, cheese puffs and babanas.
Words: DaDa, MaMa, Bye, NumNum, hi, backpack, thank you, truck, Tay Tay, Pop Pop, hi, bottle, up, choo choo & Dex

Sleep: Since Mommy when back to work you sleep schedule has been a little out of whack.  You now don't go to bed until about 9:30 or 10pm.  We don't mind though because your brother is still up then and it gives us a little extra family time.
Diapers: You are still wearing size 5 but I think I am going to move you to size 6 once we use all the 5 diapers
Things you can do: You have started eating a lot better.  You will mostly only try new things for Mommy.  You don't trust Daddy at all :)  You run all the time.  You seems to be a little clumsy too and keep a couple of bruses on you at all times.  I guess that is part of being a boy. We have started letting you use a fork and spoon.  You haven't quite figured out the spoon but you love the fork.  You want to get everything with a fork.  Jumping is your new trick.  You rarely get off the ground but it is so cute.
The first thing you did when I put the tie sticker on your shirt was rip it off and wad it up.  I guess the stickers are coming to an end :)

Lincoln's Preschool Christmas Party

Lincoln's little preschool class had a Christmas party on the 16th.  They have a book exchange and Ms. Diane also gave them a book.  It is so fun watching all the kids playing.

Lincoln is always making the monster face.  I think this is his new smile.
He wasn't that interested in playing jingle bells.

The bells were way more fun to chew on.

He loved the cookie with icing on it if you can't tell.

Of course the monster face again :)

Lincoln giving Ms. Diane her present.

Thanksgiving 2011
Our growing family

We started off Thanksgiving with lunch at my grandparents house.

Lincoln did not want to sit still long enough to get his picture taken.

Harrison's 1st Bath

Harrison's 1st Bath
Harrison hated his first bath!  He screamed the entire time just like his big brother did.

He was so displeased that he peed on me!

Still upset

All better!  I love the smelled of clean babies :)
