Wordless Wednesday

Yogurt Fun

I decided that it was time for Lincoln to start learning how to feed himself with a spoon.  I figured he might have some trouble but would pick up on it rather quickly....boy was I wrong.
He understood the concept of putting the spoon in the yogurt and then in him mouth but that doesn't mean that is what he did.  I'm not really sure if he ate any of the yogurt.  I used yogurt because he loves it and I thought that would help since I knew he would want more.

He did have a great time making a mess.

He even tried to put the yogurt cup on his head.

Who could even be mad about the mess when he makes this cute face? :)

Lincoln's Newborn Hospital Pics

Yes, I am a year late posting these picture.  I just recently ordered the CD with all of the pictures on it.  I am not in love with these pictures by any means but I felt that I still needed to order them.

Baby #2- 33 Weeks

How far along: 33 weeks

Size of Baby: Length of an average pumpkin
Big Brother Lincoln: gave us a big scare this week.  We ended up having to take him to the ER but thankfully everything is okay now.
Total weight gain: 29lbs

Maternity clothes: Everything is pretty much maternity now.  I have some cardigans that I can wear that are non maternity but that is about it.  My maternity shirts are getting short.
Gender: It's a BOY!! Harrison Joseph Barajas

Movement: All the time!  He loves to kick me in the ribs when I am laying down.

Sleep: I can't remember what it is like to have a good night's sleep. My hips have started hurting at night from laying on my side.

Symptoms: I had my first braxton hicks contractions and it like to scared me to death. I never had any with Lincoln so it really freaked me and Christian out.  Thankfully I only had about 4 then they stopped.

What I Miss: Being able to walk without it hurting.

Cravings: cupcakes
Best Moment this Week: Celebrating my birthday.

What I'm Looking Forward to: Ordering Harrison's furniture.  Yes, I am way behind with his room.  I wasn't sure if I was going to order his furniture until we finished our house but since we are moving in a rental house until ours is done I am going to order it.

Grandad & the Golf Cart

Lincoln loves to go for rides on the golf cart with his Grandad.  Anytime you ask him if he wants to go for a ride he gets really excited.  I guess on this day he just couldn't handle all the excitement :)

California- Ocean Beach

This was Lincoln's first time at the beach.  We were only there for a few min. because it was so crowded.  It also seemed a little rough for us.  We took a quick picture and headed to Silver Strand Beach.

Lincoln's 1st Birthday Party

Lincoln's birthday turned out great!  I was very happy with how everything turned out.  Of course, I planned to do a lot more crafty stuff but I ran out of time.  Plus, it is hard to get my projects done with Lincoln trying to "help".
The Birthday Boy!!

I got the invitation from a lady on etsy.  She did an amazing job!

I made all of the cupcake toppers.  Lincoln's Nana made all of the cupcakes and they were so good.

The banner I ordered from Vista Print.

I also made all of the goodie bags.  My mom bought the chair and I wrote all the kids names on them.

Daddy and Mommy with the birthday boy!

Needless to say Lincoln did not like the birthday hat.

I was so excited when he started walking exactly a week before his birthday.  He had to show off for everyone.

Lincoln's smash cake from Walmart.

He had no problem digging in the cake.

Nanny is Lincoln's favorite play buddy.  She will sit and play with him all day long.

Aunt Kelly, Aunt Deb, Memaw and Grammy

The giant waterslide was a huge success!  All the kids loved it!

The Muno and Foofa cut outs Christian and I made for the party.

Lincoln saw in the cut out and was so excited.

After the waterslide it was present time.  It was amazing how many present he got.  At almost a month later we still haven't taken all of them out of the box.  I will usually get something new out once a week.

Lincoln loved his wagon from Aunt TaTa & Uncle B.

California- Coronado Beach

Every since Christian and I have been together I have wanted the typical beach pictures of us.  Other than our wedding pictures we never have any on the beach.  Since Lincoln came along I really didn't want to miss this chance.  It took forever to find a spot on to park since the Sand Castle Championships were going on but we finally found somehwhere.  I wasn't too thrilled with the family pics but the picture below made it all worth while.
My favorite picture from the trip!  I am thinking about putting this on a canvas.

Our attempt at a family picture.

Lincoln loved the sand.
