Pics at Olan Mills

I forgot to post these last month :(  I took Lincoln to have his picture made at Olan Mills.  It was kind of last minute so I wasn't very prepared with his clothing but I think they turned out great!  I wanted to do something a little different since he had just turned 6 months old!  I still can't believe it!!
This one is my FAVORITE!

We didn't get very many pictures in the rocking chair because he kept wanting to stand up.
Overall I was pretty happy.  I was really happy that a CD with all of the pictures came with my package.  Now we can give everyone a picture that wants one.

Lincoln- 7 Months

7 Months!!

Weight: 24.4 lbs

Length: 28 1/2 inches

Diapers: Size 4

Food:  You still the fruit and veggie baby food.  We have been letting you try a few table foods.  So far you hate mashed or baked pot. and love ice cream (of course!).  Mopsy and Popsy tend to let you try a little more than I am comfortable with but they don't listen to me.  We have also started giving you fruit in the fresh food feeders and you love it!!  Strawberries and watermelon have been your favorites so far.  You have also tried cantelope and blueberries.  You liked both of those just not as much as the strawberries and watermelon.  Mopsy has also gave you so much unsweet tea that you now recognized the cup and will whine until you get some.  You also love water. When you drink a bottle after you eat baby food you usually only eat about 4-5oz.  You will drink the whole 6oz in the morning or anytime you don't have baby food with it.

Clothes:  Thankfully you are still wearing 12 and 18 mo clothes.  This is the longest you have stayed in a size :)  Of course we didn't buy a whole lot of these sizes thinking you would grow as fast as you were before and they would end up packed away with the rest of the clothes in a couple of weeks.

You did not want to look at me and smile this month.
You are still drolling like crazy but no signs of any teeth.
I actually ordered you new tie stickers that are waterproof but I somehow misplaced them.

Still refusing to look at me and smile.
Finally a half smille....I will take it!  I love your hair sticking up in this picture!
Theres a good smile!!!
You really want to crawl and get frustrated when you can't.  You have started to scoot a little.
You look so little in this picture to me for some reason.

You are still a happy baby.  You have started whining if me or your Daddy walk out of the room and you can't see us.  You don't nessecarily want us to hold you but you want to be able to see us.  You do not like strangers especially men.  If it is not someone you see often you will scream if they even talk to you.  Your ezcema has almost cleared up completely.  I am so thankful!!  You still would rather stand than sit.  We bought you a new Jeep walker and you love it.  You mostly move backwards but you can move forward some.  You still blow spit bubble a lot!!!  You will yell to get someones attention.  Everything you can get your hands on goes in your mouth.  You roll over a lot more now but still not all the time.  You love to stand up in your bed or pack-n-play.  Every now and then you will get brave and let go of the side.  You will usually stand up for a couple of seconds before you fall.  You are still mesmorized by Yo Gabba Gabba.  It is so cute when you yell and talk to the TV.  You have started noticing Lola and peanut more.  You try to pet Peanut a lot and he doesn't really like it since your petting is just hitting him but he lets you do it.  Lola is getting a little more brave around you and will come up and give you a big kiss on the face.  It is so funny to watch your facial expression when she does.  Daddy swears you say Da Da but I don't think you are.  We are so thankful that you are a healthy little boy.  We are so blessed to be your parents!

Lincoln meeting Greyson

Lincoln finally got to meet his new cousin Greyson a couple of weeks ago.  He was very curious when Greyson would cry.  It was great to also visit with Mike and Elizabeth and see their beautiful house.  Hopefully we will get to visit them more often.

I think Greyson got a little scared at this point :)

I look forward to these two growing up together and becoming friends.  In another 6-12 month they will really enjoy each others company. The Wooten Christmas should be fun this year! :)

Lincoln Swimming

A few weeks back Christian and I decided to take Lincoln swimming.  He has always loved bathtime so we figured he would love the pool too.  We also need to go to Atlanta to see my new little cousin so we made a weekend of it.  We booked a hotel room in Atlanta with a heated pool and we were on our way.
My cool dude ready to hit the pool.

The water was pretty chilly but Lincoln didn't seem to mind at all!  He would kick his legs then throw his arms up in the air and shake his whole body trying to move in the water.  It was adorable!
Christian got in the pool with Lincoln.  I was suppose to but it was a little too cold for me.
He kept smiling and yelling.

This has to be some of the best money we have ever spent.  We have decided to try to get a room ever month or so until it is warm enough to swim at Mopsy's and at Memaw's.
