39 weeks & "Push" present

Well I've made it to 39 weeks!  I can't believe the end is almost here.  I go back to the doctor on Thursday and if everything still looks good she will induce me on Friday.
It is so weird to think that I will have a baby this weekend.  I think I will miss being pregnant and getting to feel Lincoln move around in my belly.  I will not miss feeling uncomfortable!!

My wonderful husband surprised me last night with my "push" present!  I had no idea he had even planned to get me anything.  He decided to give it to me early because I hate opening presents in front of people and he was sure there would be people in and out of the hospital the whole time we are there.  He also wrote the sweetest card.  He is so wonderful!!!!!
The ring is gorgeous!!
I was trying to get a good picture of it.  It has a canary diamond in the center
with white diamond surrounding it and down the sides.

This is a picture from the website.  I love it so much!!

Weekend

Christian and I wanted to make sure and spend as much time together as we could.  Friday evening we ate dinner and watch TV on the couch.  I ended up falling asleep as usual but I still enjoyed it.  Saturday we got up and went to Brocks for breakfast then to Walmart.  We needed to get the oil changed in the Commander and I needed to walk as much as possible.  We were going to rent some movies from Red Box but didn't see anything that interested us.  We went home and watch TV and napped until it was time to go to a cookout at the Stallings.  We had a wonderful time at the cookout and it was great to see everyone and all the babies :)  Sunday was our date day!  We got up that morning and Christian went and bought breakfast from Hardees.  We ate and got ready to go to town.  Before we went to town we stopped by my Mom's house to pick up my new Coach purse.  I love it!!

Originally we were going to see Despicable Me in 3D but ended up running late so we decided to go see The Last Airbender in 3D.  The movie was okay but the 3D wasn't worth the money.  Here is a pic of us in our glasses :)
Christian wanted to wear his glasses the rest of the day :)

After the movie we headed to Hixson to go shoe shopping.  Christian was in need of some new sandals.  We finally found some at Shoe Carnival.  Finally it was dinner time so we decided to try out the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Hixson.  I love hot wings and BW3 are my favorites.  Lincoln was going crazy after I ate because of the spicy wings!  After dinner we went home and sat on the couch until about 8:30pm and decided to go to bed. :)  Christian was up giggling at some TV show forever but I went to sleep.  I had a wonderful time spending the day with my amazing husband.  We are both very anxious (and a little scared) about Friday.

Last week my neighbor dropped off my baby shower present and I love it and wanted to post a picture.

She made it and it looks awesome hanging in his room.

Dr. Appt.

I went to the doctor yesterday and I talked to her about being induced.  She checked me to find that I was about 1/2cm dilated.  She said that if I keep progressing by my Dr. Appt next Thursday and don't have the baby before then she will set me to be induced next Friday (July 30th).  Woohoo!  Christian and I are very excited and scared all at the same time.  It is hard to believe that we are going to have a baby next week!!  Wow!!  July 30th is also my friend Hilary's birthday and mine and Christian's 5 year dating anniversary.  I feel so much better since we kind of have a plan.  I am not a spur of the moment person and I like to plan things.  Pregnancy is not something that really works out with a plan and especially birth.  Now I can make sure my house is super clean, we have everything in the car and ready to go and my legs are shaved :)  I can also make sure everything is ready at work and the dogs are at their grandparents house.  Christian and I have been trying to come up with things to do for the last week that we will be without a child.  Our main goal is to just spend as much time together as we can just being a family of two.
I am still hoping this is what is going to happen! :)

38 weeks & Presents

I am now 38 weeks!  I went to the doctor last Thursday and she said she expected that I would go full term.  I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore.  I am really uncomfortable right now.  I guess I can tough it out for 2 more weeks though.  She said she will induce me if I haven't had the baby by August 2nd.  I am going to talk to her on Thursday and see if she would induce me on July 30th.

Hilary and Joe came over and had dinner last night.  Hilary couldn't make it to the baby shower because she was out of town so she bought a present over last night.  We love the gift and can't wait to put it on Lincoln.  It is not exactly something I would pick out but Aunt Hilary will alway keep him looking cool I'm sure :)
These have to be the cutest shoes I've ever seen.  Christian loves them!

Christian picked out the black hat to take to the hospital for when Aunt Hilary comes to see Lincoln.

To my Amazing Husband

As it gets closer to time for Lincoln to get here I wanted to say a special thanks to my Amazing Husband.  I probably don't tell him enough how much I love him and how much he means to me.  I know that he has been the one that has been on the bad end of all of my mood swings throughout this pregnancy.  I have gotten mad at him over the most crazy stuff and he has just took it and went on :)  The end of this month will mark us being together for five years.
Our first Auburn game Sept. 2005

Snowshoe, WV 2006
He taught me to ski.  The only place I had ever tried was a place in AL where it is one hill of straight ice.  He was very patient.  I still get scared when I start going fast and just fall over to stop myself :)

Disney World 2007
This had to be one of my favorite vacations.  We went with Christian's family and spent the week in Disney.  When we first started talking about it I wasn't that excited about going but once we got there I had a blast!

We love going new places together.  Hopefully we will be going to many more.  I know having a child now will make things a little more difficult but it will also make it much more fun!

Boone, NC 2007
I was a little better at skiing here but then we all got brave and decided to try to snowboard.  We were awful!  It was a lot of fun but I don't think I will be trying that again anytime soon.

The best day of my life so far.  I married my best friend and love of my life.  I can't wait to take this next step in our lives together.  I know Christian will be a wonderful Dad.  He loves kids and they love him.  I also know that he will want to apart of everything and will even help with the late night feedings and diaper changes.  Christian, if you are reading this, thank you for everything you have done for me.  Sorry if I have been a pain for the last 9 months but I promise I will try to do better.  I will try not snap at the small things and learn to let them go.  I can't imagine taking this journey with anyone else.  I love you more than you will ever know!

Dad and the Dogs

Christian decided he wanted a picture with dogs.  Lola is smiling.  I think it is so cute :)  After that Lola and Peanut decided they wanted to play on the new rug in Lincoln's room.  They love when we get a new rug somewhere since we don't have carpet anywhere in our house.
Peanut looks like he is still trying to pose :)
He loves to give kisses!
This one is my favorite!  Lola will bite you on the butt and not think twice about it.  She likes to do the sneak attack :)
Lola looks mean in this one but she doesn't even bite.  She makes you think she is going to then she just nibbles a little.
Peanut hates when you pick him up.

37 Weeks

Only 3 weeks to go!!  I went to the doctor this past Thursday and she said Lincoln had dropped some but I wasn't dilated any.  I go back again this week to see if there has been any changes.  I am really starting to feel rough.  I tire out very easily and have to take a lot of breaks.  The suitcase is pretty much packed and ready to go.  We just have to put it in the car.
I don't think my belly has really gotten any bigger in the past week.  It does feel a little lower and I can breathe better.

Funny for the Week

This is me a couple of weeks ago.  I couldn't get enough ice cream.  My nesting instincts have finally set in and I am getting things ready for Mr. Lincoln to arrive.

Lincoln's Room

We finally finished up Lincoln's room today.  I am so relieved to have it done.  Now, all I have left to do is finish packing for the hospital and we will be ready for Lincoln's arrival.  Well as ready as we will ever be
My aunt made all of the bedding.  She did an amazing job!!!
She also made the curtain, hamper and a ton of sheets.
The TV is for me so I will have something to watch during those late night feedings.
This is a wreath that someone made for me at my baby shower.  It is so cute I hate to take it apart.
Lincoln has more clothes than I will ever know what to do with.  He will never be able to wear all of them but they are so cute I hate to get rid of any of them.
I made the blocks for a picture I wanted so we decided to use them in Lincoln's room.  We are going to put pictures on these shelves once Lincoln arrives.
Lincoln's hat for the hospital arrived this week and I love it!
We also got his coming home outfit.  I can't wait to see our little man in it.
This is one of the pictures Christian took.  I saw this on a photographers website and had to recreate it.
